Texas Moves Up to No. 2 in US LBM Coaches Poll

Texas used a strong defense that kept Texas A&M from scoring an offensive touchdown to beat their in-state rivals, 17-7. The Longhorn defense allowed just 244 yards of offense and forced two turnovers while running back Quintrevion Wisner chewed up the clock with 33 rushes for 186 yards. The win moves Texas to No. 2 in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll while the loss dropped Texas A&M out of the top 25.
Oregon still sits No. 1 with a perfect 12-0 record and will face No. 3 Penn State in the Big Ten Championship game. No. 2 Texas will get a rematch against No. 5 Georgia in the SEC title game while No. 4 Notre Dame will sit and watch where their place will be in the College Football Playoff.
