Penn State Moves up Eight Spots in this Week’s Poll

Penn State jumped up eight places in this week’s USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll thanks to their big win over Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Nittany Lions outscored Auburn, 27-6, in the second half to secure the 41-12 victory. Penn State now sits No. 15 in the poll. Meanwhile, Washington enters the poll for the first time after defeating Michigan State. The Huskies debut at #24. Georgia moves up to No. 1 this week switching spots with Alabama, while the rest of the top 5 stays the same.
