Oregon Wins Shootout Against Ohio State

Oregon outscored Ohio State, 10-3, in the fourth quarter to win their top 3 showdown, 32-31. The Ducks move up to No. 2 in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll while the Buckeyes fall to No. 5. Oregon came from behind twice in the final quarter, winning the game on a 19-yard field goal with 1:47 left to go in the game.
Texas beat rival Oklahoma, 34-3 and remains No. 1 with 52 of the 54 first place votes. Penn State survived an overtime thriller to beat Southern California and moves up to No. 3, while Georgia outscored Mississippi State, 41-31, and remains in the fourth spot.
