[NAIA POLL] Concordia (Mich.) Moves Into The Top 5 Of The NAIA Top 25

Concordia (Mich.) dominated one of the newest football programs in the NAIA, Madonna (Mich.), 61-17, allowing the Cardinals to rise up one spot to No. 5 in this week’s AFCA NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 spring poll. Concordia (Mich.) is now 5-0 on the season and will travel to Indiana Wesleyan this coming Saturday.

Morningside (Iowa) still sits No. 1 with 17 first-place votes, followed by No. 2 Grand View (Iowa), who earned the remaining first-place vote. No. 3 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) was idle this past weekend but will face Campbellsville (Ky.) on Thursday night. No. 4 Keiser (Fla.) rounds out the Top 5.
Kansas Wesleyan and Valley City State (N.D.) join the poll this week. The Coyotes are ranked No. 24 after beating then-No. 11 Bethel (Kan.), 28-21. Valley City State (N.D.) comes in at No. 25. They concluded their regular season in the fall.
There is only one Top 25 matchup this coming weekend and it is a big one in the Frontier Conference as No. 6 College of Idaho travels to No. 20 Eastern Oregon. Both teams are 2-0 with two games left in the regular season.
