Michigan Wins CFP National Title

The Michigan Wolverines won their first national title since 1997, beating Washington, 34-13, in the CFP National Championship game. Michigan rushed for a title game record 303 yards, with Blake Corum accounting for 134 yards and Donovan Edwards recording 104 yards. That makes Michigan the first team in CFP title game history to have two running backs rush for 100 yards or more.
Michigan ends the 2023 season at No. 1 in the final US LBM Coaches Poll, with Washington coming in at No. 2. Georgia, Texas and Alabama round out the top five.
