Georgia Starts 2023 at No. 1

Georgia will start the 2023 football season where they have finished each of the last two years, at No. 1. The Bulldogs received 61 of the 66 first-place votes as they begin the defense of their two straight national titles.
Michigan comes in at No. 2 after their semifinal appearance in 2022, followed by Alabama, who finished 11-2 with a victory in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. Ohio State and LSU round out the Top 5.
