Indiana off to best start since 1967

With their 31-17 win over Washington, Indiana is 8-0 for only the second time in program history, and the first time since 1967. The Hoosiers, who are ranked No. 13 in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll, are the only FBS program to not allow a first quarter point so far in 2024.
Nothing changed with the top six teams with Oregon still remaining No. 1. Texas A&M erased a 10-point, halftime deficit to beat LSU, 38-23. The Aggies jumped to the 11th spot while the Tigers fell nine places to No. 16. Notre Dame took advantage of six Navy turnovers to win easily, 51-14, and move into the top 10 at No. 9.
