Georgia & LSU Record Big Wins in SEC Battles

Georgia and LSU recorded key victories in their respective divisions of the SEC which will make their roads to the SEC title game a little easier. The No. 1 ranked Bulldogs used a stingy defense that sacked Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker six times enroute to a 27-13 victory over the Vols. In SEC West Division action, No. 17 LSU used a two-point conversion in the first overtime to beat then-No. 6 Alabama, 32-31. Georgia remains No. 1 and LSU rises to No. 8 in this week’s USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll.
