- Louisiana College Earns Ranking in Division III Coaches' Poll
AFCA DIII Coaches' Top 25 Poll
Louisiana College joins the poll at No. 25 in this week’s AFCA Division III Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. This is Louisiana College’s first time to ever be ranked in the history of the AFCA Division III Coaches’ Poll. Also joining the poll this week is Wisconsin-Oshkosh at No. 24, who hasn’t been ranked since 2007. Losses from Wartburg (Iowa) and Alfred (N.Y.) caused them to drop out of the poll. Then-No. 8 Kean (N.J.) lost to Brockport St. (N.Y.), 28-20, which caused them to drop 13 spots to No. 21.
Wisconsin-Whitewater remains No. 1 this week with 39 first place votes followed by Mount Union (Ohio), which received the remaining three first place votes. St. Thomas (Minn.), Mary Hardin-Baylor (Texas) and Linfield (Ore.) round out the Top 5.
